        When CTL/EDM was established, the aim of the company was to supply a quick, economical wire erosion service of the highest quality workmanship available to anyone. This target was very successfully achieved, and in January 2008 the decision was taken to invest in larger and even more technologically advanced Charmilles machines. We have found this to be a great benefit to our customers, in respect of quick turnaround but even more so as now, with the large capacity 640cc machine, we can tackle jobs, previously beyond our capability.

        The staff at CTL/EDM has many years of tool making and wire erosion experience, so you can always talk to us about a manufacturing problem and we will do our very best to help.

        We use the latest Roboform CAD CAM technology which accepts files in DXF format that once E-mailed to us, can be directly processed into a working programme.

        With wire erosion, we can cut keyways up to 510mm tall, spline forms without the need of broaches, sprockets and various other components for General Engineering, Tool Making, Medical, and Aerospace to name but a few.
